Well, despite the joyful *sarcasm fully intended* flight, I finally arrived in Adelaide at 10:45 in the morning.
…is awesome, but travelling for 30 hours is so not.
Recently I found myself in Brooklyn for a couple of days.
In a strange way, the trip home marked the end of summer for me. It’s the last trip I get to go on.
I had some trouble sleeping while up at the cottage
Through a series of fortunate, and misfortunate, events, we all ended up in Huntsville for an afternoon. Though I would’ve loved spending the day in the lake, you know me and water, I’m also not one to say no to an adventure.
There is nothing like a morning coffee overlooking a serene lake in the summer.
When you live in Toronto, and you’re on your way to the cottage, there is one place you must stop – Webers.
The way home was different…literally. We took a different route, stopping at Sauble Falls and Sauble Beach.
After so much walking, not only did my feet hurt *I had taken in my boots to get repaired and the guy took out and threw out my gel insoles and I didn’t notice until we were already hiking! Ugh. I was rather – read ‘very’ – upset* but I also was so so very tired. I slept much better, though the vino did screw it up a touch. And I woke up more rested, a little puffy, and full of sarcasm.
