Through a series of fortunate, and misfortunate, events, we all ended up in Huntsville for an afternoon. Though I would’ve loved spending the day in the lake, you know me and water, I’m also not one to say no to an adventure.

Especially when it comes with a lovely beverage on the patio below.

And a visit to get some chocolate.

And it was a fantastic excuse to wear this Arnhem skirt. I’ve been eyeing this for months. Months!  But again, with the frugal nature that I have, I could not buy it full price. But when it cost less than half *with a discount code, of course* I couldn’t resist. And bonus *or de rigeur as it’s becoming with me* it’s made with a sustainable fabric and in an ethical way.

That evening our host, my dear friend, treated us to a lovely sunset meal. Her and her partner, set up a delicious dinner and spoiled us rotten. I will be forever grateful for her, and so happy she’s found such a perfect partner to her madness.
