Hi! I’m Joanna. Actor, tv host, photographer, blogger, martial artist and sci-fi nerd living in Toronto, Canada. That’s pretty much me in a nutshell. I can cook to save my life I just won’t unless it actually is to save my life, but I’m happy to eat – as long as it’s gluten and dairy free. I’ve seen every single episode of Star Trek at least twice, can recite Star Wars like nobody’s business, and am really upset that they re-imagined Battlestar Galactica and did not cast me in it. That would’ve been my role of a lifetime!
Let’s see what else….I own and use a variety of swords, as well as other weapons having kicked butt and had my butt kicked in Kung Fu for over 12 years. And I love a good scotch.
I also love to play dress-up. My goal with this is just to show that you can an artist (AKA broke), practical, comfortable, and still be a *somewhat* fashionable woman. Let’s see how it goes.
Oh, and if you need to reach me, email me at Joanna{dot}Haughton{at}hotmail{dot}com
Thanks so much for reading!

November 17, 2011thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your story! i had the same experience during those first weeks after my son was born. i recall saying "having a baby was the worst idea i ever had" and i felt like the worst mother in the world. over time, my heart warmed and the attachment grew. after a false alarm, when i thought i was going to lose him, it hit me like a huge wave. i couldn't live without him. i just appreciate your story SO MUCH.
