I’ve said before that it’s always been really hard to have a birthday right between Christmas and New Years, and that’s never changed. It’s hard. Totally sucks. But it’s nice and extra special when people do make the time for me. So one of my best friends in the world is taking me out for lunch, then I’m seeing Pitch Perfect 3 *my totally guilty pleasure franchise – along with Magic Mike* and this evening I go out with some friends for much needed dancing.

Honestly, it’s so touching that these peeps are willing to come out and celebrate with me during one of the busiest times of the year, and also that they’re braving the cold.
