As soon as I’m back, I hit the ground running. It was family visits, and friend visits, and date nights. Like I was making up for lost time, I headed out into the town and wanted to connect with all that I had missed. But to be fair, I didn’t mind the hustle and bustle. Eventually, I hope to end in the quiet wild, and would be up for that at any time, but coming back made me appreciate the city in a new way. It made me love the variety of things to do, and it made me love that life had continued without me….
