But let’s face it, that’s a lie. Well, at least a half truth, if not an intentional lie. Because though you might have the best support – family, friends, experts – you are ultimately alone in your body and mind. In the end, it is your unique experience and no one else can be inside it. Your pain. Your hardship. Your journey. At the core, it’s up to you to survive it and, if you can, find a way to thrive. The bright side is that the human spirit has a great resilience, even if you can’t see it just yet.
