Let’s face it, everywhere we look we have ads, or people’s highlight reels, or somebody enjoying something we want.

It’s everywhere. It’s prolific. And it’s all designed to make us feel lacking. You’re not. You’re really not. Edit your life to reflect your goals. What the hell does that mean?

Well, unfollow those that aren’t supporting the values you wish to live. If you love to hear honest truths and struggles, then unfollow the person who always uses all caps and multiple exclamation marks on everything. OMG IT’S THE BEST LIPSTICK EVEERRR!!! True, sometimes it may be the best lipstick ever….but everything? All the time? Somehow I doubt the voracity of your statement if that’s the case.

If you want to support your goal of fiscal and environmental responsibility in fashion….well, you get the idea.

Take away the ads. Take away the things that make you feel bad. Inspiration is fabulous. I love following people who inspire me, or brands that are sustainable to see what they’re up to. But take away the things that make you feel less than. You are not. You are just as awesome and shitty as everyone else, and that’s what I like about you.
