There’s a popular blog called the Man Repeller, and while I’m not a fan of the style, I like the concept that she dresses for herself and that she doesn’t care that she repels men/people. We should dress for ourselves. We should have fun with fashion. I mean, we spend most of our lives in it, it doesn’t make sense not to have some fun with it. And the idea of dressing for someone else just tires me.

I have trouble enough figuring myself out, the idea that I would have to figure someone else out and dress for them seems like so much excessive work. So yeah, I dress for myself. With overalls, a plaid shirt, and Star Wars shoes. If I repelled some men, meh…I’m clearly deeply concerned. Actually, this makes me feel like a kid back in rural Poland running around and doing what I want. And I’m gonna keep that feeling.
