Ah yes, the beach.
A friend, who grew up in Oceanside, recommended Encinitas. Ubering in we walked the quaint beach town and did a little shopping. I found the shops really cool, especially the two vintage/thrifted shops. Found a cute Betsey Johnson dress there. Then it was beach time!
And it was a great beach. The water was freezing, so no swimming. But the walks and the sunshine were a perfect cure for the February Canadian blues.
