One thing I wanted to see in San Diego proper was Balboa Park.
I read about the architecture – Spanish influenced – and I love all things Spanish, since I spent a month there and left my heart behind. It’s a great way to spend a day: walking through the museums – some free – the botanical gardens, the outdoor gardens as well, and the Spanish art Center which houses tons of artisans creating their own unique art for sale.
It was wonderful, but I was having trouble appreciating it. There was stuff going on, and the something I had eaten that would cause me greater trouble the following day was already starting to do its work. I tried my best though.

March 17, 2019Thank you. So glad you enjoyed it. IT’s a fabulous way to spend a day, with all the gardens and museums to keep you occupied. And a few are free so if that’s a consideration, and it always is, that’s really great too.
