We go around once. Once. I know, that’s not exactly breaking news, but sometimes we forget that this is the only ride we get. And in that one ride we spend most of our lives wearing clothes, so why wouldn’t we celebrate this part of our life?

You know how everyone’s telling you to embrace the moment and live free and be who you are? Why wouldn’t that extend to clothes? Why wouldn’t you want to be playful, experiment, go outside your comfort zone, try new things etc. etc. in your clothing as well. I for one want to do the best that I can in terms of experiences, and relationships, and getting all that I am able to on this go ’round and part of that is playing with what I spend most of my life in. The clothes.

That doesn’t mean you have to think about what you wear, or agonize over it. It means playing. It means following your whims and ideas. It means having fun and not taking it seriously. So what if some mistakes are made? Who cares. You tried something. And no, it doesn’t have to be this big deal. I literally spend about 10 minutes or less thinking about what I’m going to wear. *special events and really shitty days not included – I’m human after all* The rest of the day is spent having the fullest experience I can and being in relationship with those I care about.  And yes, that includes hopping over a picnic table in a ruffly dress occasionally. *don’t ask*
