The last few days we’ve spent a lot of time at the beach.  Some swimming beaches, some not. And even though the water has been really cold, it’s been glorious to sit and sun and spend time together. If you ever really doubt that we’re animals just look at all of us gathering around the water hole. Around there to rest, rejuvenate, relax, and socialize. Let’s not underestimate the value and soothing that we get from sitting by the sea, and playing in the water.

I don’t. It’s the best I feel all year. It’s the happiest I feel all year. And it’s the most alive I feel all year….in the summer, at the beach.
