Thigh high socks are so cute. I love layering them on bare legs and over tights. But it seems that every time I do there’s this tightness and almost a muffin top roll thing that my legs do. I never see that on any of the pictures on the internet. *I know they’re all photoshopped so that might be edited away too* It’s one of those little pet peeves. Like, I know my legs aren’t shaped weird so how come I get this roll? And what is their secret?
You know, ’cause it’s like high school. Everyone else is in on the secret except me. Spill people. Spill. Whats the secret to non-muffin top thigh high socks? What am I missing here?

September 26, 2014I want to know the secret, too! I get the thigh muffin-topness too. Either they're tight enough to stay up, and muffin top. Or they're loose enough to not have muffin top, but then fall down all day. I haven't found the happy medium. Garters?

September 26, 2014Okay, well I'm at least happy that I'm not the only one! Maybe there's no secret, and we're just real life ladies and not photoshopped images?

September 29, 2014I think the secret is to pretend they're somebody else's legs…I see no bulge…but I know I tend to see all sorts of imperfections in MY dress that other people can't see.

September 30, 2014Yeah, maybe that's the case. Maybe it's one of those things that I see but no one else notices 🙂 Thanks!

January 27, 2017I get the muffin top too! And I have pretty “average” legs too, if you will. Lol, maybe the photos are just shot by a good photographer who knows the angles at which the muffin top won’t show?

January 27, 2017Either that or photoshopped! Ha. Nice to know I’m not the only one 🙂
