It was finally a gorgeous autumn day. We got up early, and got in our cars early, to get to the apple picking right when it opened.
Our only full Orillia day started with a 40 minute walk to the Farmer’s market, followed by a meander down the main street with a fancy stop for a latte/tea and a scone at Apple Annie’s.
Our Mother/Daughter trip out of town started with a drive through the Ontario swamps – you know, the ones that grow all our food.
A girlfriend and I decided to go out for a girl’s trip and head to Unionville.
When friends say, “Let’s go apple picking!” You say, “Yes!”
This is an iconic place to visit. As the oldest and best preserved 19th century town in Ontario, it’s a place full of history.
Exploring the waterfalls of Ontario is my goal, and obviously you can’t ignore the big pink elephant in the room: Niagara Falls.
