Seated by a lake, you can only look at it for so long before the need to jump in overtakes any other consideration.

Though to be fair, I put up very little fight. Mostly, well I didn’t fight at all. But after a brief swim I did realize that it wasn’t going to be that much fun. See, unlike other lakes, the seaweed here grows tall and thin, which means that as you’re swimming there’s weeds that grab onto you. Though they’re not dangerous, it does make me feel like something is trying to drown me.

So I decided to go for a run instead.
