The past week I was invited to spend a lovely afternoon with Keona. They’re a new made in Canada prebiotic and probiotic supplement brand – they’re synbiotic. That’s important because the prebiotic provides the food for the probiotic bacteria – ’cause the good stuff in our gut needs to be fed. That’s just one of the things I learned from Amanda Lapidus, the dietician who spoke at the event. But that wasn’t the only thing that happened that day.

There was lovely delicious food, snacks, and fruit and veggie juices. My favorite was the kale, cucumber, and basil one. I also had a gentle movement class by Amber Joliat from MissFit Studios, followed by a talk by her about finding movement that you love. It really is about finding something that inspires you.  And a talk from Erika Diamond about balance and getting out of a rut. A wonderful afternoon spent with yummy treats and some take home samples. I can’t wait to take these synbiotics – and the best part about them is that they don’t have to be refrigerated, so I am definitely taking them with me when I travel.
