A beautiful warm and sun filled morning on the beach followed by some adventuring. That’s what filled the day. First thing’s first right? Priorities. Enjoying the beach. That’s the first thing on the agenda after breakfast and an americano.

But after a few hours I get antsy. I’m so physical and need to move my body, that I can’t just lounge and rest. Unless I’m swimming like mad, which I wasn’t since it was a red flag day and I’m not the strongest swimmer. So off on an adventuring walk we went.

When you turn left at the beach and continue walking you come to the end of the beach and start along the rocky edge. Then that ends and that’s where most turn around. We persevered. We persevered over the sharp rocks *probably not the smartest thing to do in flip flops, I admit* and continued along until we ended up at our own private beach. This beach was covered in seaweed and some washed up garbage as it wasn’t maintained. But it also housed treasures – like seashells everywhere. That’s where I took that photo on Instagram with all the seashells.

We spent several hours walking that day, and it was fantastic. Our reward was the incredible views.
