Top of the mornin’ to you. I’m up bright and early, too early for my tastes, but as every Mother knows it’s not up to my tastes. And last night marks the last time I’m going to sleep in my bed until next Sunday. I’m New York bound! Heading over to my sister’s place tonight. so for the next while I’ll be posting from NYC.
I’ve been there a few times. So here’s the question: any hidden gems that I should check out? Anything secret you’ve discovered that you’re willing to share with me? See you in New York.

Lovely outfit with the shorts. Not so hidden but a favorite of mine is Rockafellar park….not Rockafellar square…its downtown near the ferry terminals by tribeca…great for a picnic, nice view of the statue of liberty, and not as touristy as battery park (which is right in front of the statue….
Oh and Limelight Market place is an old church converted into shops and ADORABLE cafes!!! Great place to spend time at!

Hi there. Go to the East Village. Walk on streets like 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th and you'll be able to score nice vintage pieces. Take the L train to Williamsburg if you have time. You can walk to beacon's closet. A small store in Greenpoint called dalaga is awesome, too. Enjoy your stay here in NYC!
