Oh my gosh guys, right before surgery I connected with This is Willow clothing.

They make timeless, feminine clothing from size XS to 2X. Love the size inclusivity. First off, let’s start with the two things that made me jump on this: sustainable and local (Toronto baby for the win!). Then I got my dress. Wow!

This is the Quinn dress in a deadstock 100% blue linen, which is a natural fabric and totally recyclable. The color is perfect and the fabric is made from Belgian flax and woven in Ireland. I love linen because of the way the texture of the linen changes in look – it has a beautiful imperfection to it – and it gets softer with every wash. Then the dress was made in Toronto as are the rest of the designs! The fit is a bit larger, so it’s recommended to size down if you’re between sizes, and there is so much about it that makes it fit so well: an elasticized waist, a free skirt for a variety of bums and I love the buttons at the front. Plus, the Achilles heel for every woman: it has pockets! Deep ones too. Yay!

I can not wait until summer because you know, linen breathes and our Summers are humid baby! Until then, I’ll just layer up.
