I’ve been meaning to try some larger embroidery.

What I mean by larger, is not a bigger project – though that too – but something with yarn on a sweater. So this fun thrifted sweater became the perfect little canvas to explore some floral yarn embroidery. I wanted to keep the palette neutral so as not to make it difficult to layer and mix and match, but luckily my yarn leftovers included a green in the same tone and a soft cream to form the petals. And I must say that I like the little bit of whimsy it’s brought to the piece.
