Here are the things I love in pictures:

my daughter, my dog, pretty dresses, warm sunshine, and morning walks to the local for our coffee and muffin treats. It might be small, it might be mundane, but it’s precious.

And I have walked my streets afraid. Afraid at night as a woman alone. But I have never walked these streets afraid because of skin color. So while I understand fear, I have never had to justify my presence to the police.
