My AirBnb was about thirty minutes walk outside of town. It’s such a tragedy when you have to walk on the beach in the morning. Tough gig, you know?

Anyway, I walked in and then walked the lighthouse walk around the hill all the way around, and then back into town. It gave me a great chance to see the landscape, think, and observe people.

The night before, I had gone to a restaurant for dinner, and the host was a walk off from the tv show Spartacus, as was the bar tender. Seriously, no ounce of fat, perfect curls, tattoos, and muscles and chiseled jaw EVERYWHERE. Then I saw that they were everywhere. Throw a rock and you’ll hit a beautiful person.

At one point near the end of my trip, I was sitting in a cafe and I saw a perfect surf God walk in with his muscles, breezy hair, piercing eyes, and chiseled jaw. He turned to say something to the perfectly statuesque Goddess with waist length golden curls, holding their genetic lottery winning child, and I thought to myself, “I have to get the f**k out of this town before they sacrifice me. Us mere mortals can not co-exist here.”

Both the people and the scenery are stunning.

Halfway through my walk – at the cafe by the lighthouse, I stopped for a coffee and scone treat. I have to say that I enjoy travelling solo. You get the chance to be in your own thoughts, do what you want, and talk to people when you choose. It was nice to have a few days solo after a tour with others, and before heading into the madness of family life again.
