Want another book recommendation?  Well you’re going to get it anyway. Ha! 

I just read The Three Body Problem. It’s an export from China, and yes, there are some ideas there about how science is the savior of all mankind and scientific progress can do no wrong. Which I’m not a huge fan of because I do think that science and scientists have a moral mandate that they should follow. Not a religious one mind you, but morality and the respect for the responsibility that they take on. But I digress.

The story itself is a nicely woven one, even though you kind of see the end coming a mile away, it’s still told well. It’s a sci fi trilogy, and I will be reading the follow up books to see where the whole debacle leads to. If you’re looking for a good story, that’s written from a totally different perspective, and one that I find has a different rhythm to it, then check it out. I’ll let you know how the other two books turn out, but for now I’m reading Red Sparrow. I’ll let you know how that turns out.
