Managed to get away for a bit. The drive up was uneventful, other than Drake the dog insisting on being a navigator all the way there instead of napping.

But it was north – 3 hours north of Toronto – which meant I knew it would be cold! So out came the knitted dresses and the Winter boots. As much as I hate the cold, it does give one a reprieve from constantly waxing. Small things to be grateful for, I guess.
