Been reading the history and formation of the SAS, the British Special Services.

It’s fascinating how daring, and innovation resulted in this regiment….with a lot of luck too. The things that happened because of determination are great, but the things that happened because of sheer luck are just as great.

Just goes to show, that determination and planning still require that precious moment of luck.
