Covid hit Cuba really hard, as you can imagine when 90% of the economy is founded on tourism.

Many of the resorts are still closed, and many are out of work. But the spirit, kindness, and hospitality of its inhabitants have not been diminished. The people were all ready with a smile, happy to chat, and more than eager to sit and spend some time with you. It was a beautiful sight of the resilience of the spirit.
